Idk why this is like shocking to people. This is the entry ticket to greatness. Everyone needs to put in 10,000 hours some even more to achieve great things. When I was coming out of school that’s what I did and that’s why I don’t need to do anything I don’t want to do now.. Too many people get it twisted and try to money max, or career max too early. Your starting salary doesn’t matter, what matters is you become the best at your craft as fast as possible and it’s going to be competitive. People will work nights and weekends and do work outside of work to get better than you. You can either realize that’s the game and suck it up and do the work or quit before you lose.
