Qualcomm ($QCOM) and Amazon have announced a multi-generational collaboration to develop customized silicon for AWS AI infrastructure, initially focusing on large-scale AI inference. The partnership will also involve working on advanced optical connectivity for data centers and expanding Qualcomm's use of AWS AI infrastructure for chip-design and EDA workloads.
