There has been no meaningful progress from 4o to Astra. The last big leap was the o series of models, since then it’s incremental. I’m sure I could swap the models and no one would notice for a while. Anyone claiming astra is a leap because it can use blender has to be kidding themselves. People had MCPs for this kind of stuff a year ago. Fable was noticeably better over Opus but still not as good as Mythos when it was closed source. We got AI’s going from solving leetcode to making 3D models and I’m supposed to be excited when in fact it’s really boring and only a sliver of the population will really use it for that at all.
