Reports indicate that NVIDIA has cancelled the original 4-die version of its Rubin Ultra chip due to manufacturing execution concerns. The revised Rubin Ultra plan features a 2-die version that is half the size and offers approximately half the real-world performance of the original design. This change comes only three months after the initial product announcement at GTC 2026.
