Huawei has begun shipping its Ascend 910C GPU, which reportedly offers 66% faster performance than NVIDIA’s ($NVDA) flagship GB200 (Blackwell) despite consuming 2.5x more power. The full production of the 910C poses a significant threat to NVIDIA, as China accounts for approximately 40% of its revenue when accounting for all shipment channels. There is growing concern that China may entirely replace NVIDIA chips with these domestic alternatives for its cloud infrastructure.
