This has been one of the most perplexing things I've experienced in crypto. I bull posted this onchain poker protocol several times leading up to its launch. And while there were some issues with MagicBlock for the first week which slowed down the hands tremendously these were fixed pretty quickly considering it's a mainnet beta. So I can't blame them. This is experimental tech after all. Tokenomics also were reworked. I feel like this team (who I'm invested in through Gm Capital) we're on top of every little thing and really dialed in the gameplay to where it's super enjoyable poker. Many complained about the geo blocking. But I can't attribute lack of commercial success to that given that many crypto platforms geoblock and are successful. I can't blame Solana as they were very supportive and even posted about the protocol several times through the official gaming account. The timing was really perfect with WSOP and the sponsorship there. I'm left just scratching my head wondering what in the world is happening. Is gaming really dead? Or was it never alive? Do people only care about mining a token and nobody really wanted to play something fun that actually works? It's pretty nihilist but it's really the only conclusion I can reach. Which also makes it tough as an investor in crypto on the venture side which I'm heavily involved in. Like how do you justify making these Investments when the execution is pretty close to perfect given it's a protocol built by one person essentially in their spare time and advertise as a mainnet beta so no surprises. Yet there were no catastrophic failures at all. I don't really know where to go from here. I feel somewhat defeated. I would certainly expecting this to be a major commercial success. It still might be down the road. But for now I just take the L. Also by limiting the node sales to the 585 that did sell already (half of those funds went to stakers) at the very least anybody who did buy is going to be in a much better position if this ever does take off. I certainly didn't want to leave anybody hanging and feel that that's the right move so I'm glad they implemented this. Just wanted to get this off my chest for my followers here. As always I appreciate all the support and your willingness to pay attention to what I'm saying. I don't take that responsibility lightly.
