this reminds me of when i first quit tradfi and came into crypto to trade NFTs at the same time a different trader also quit to become a Macro PM at a hedge fund i remember thinking how sharp she would have to be at her job to be successful vs me sometimes its about choosing the markets to trade as much as it is about the positions you take memecoin trading has become more crowded, the trenches are difficult unless we are in a PvE environment (like now) yet i've continually told people i have been trading perp grid bots on equity/crypto futures for the last 18 months noone is really doing it, none of my friends even, can only really do it at crypto venues, not traditional brokerages thats why i have made $8m+ doing it in a year on a much lower risk strategy choose the fringes to trade before everyone turns up
