Little story about the value of trust @yeet On Friday the Giants beat the Angels 7-6. Except there was one catch - initially multiple odds providers incorrectly graded the score 8-6. One of our larger players at YEET had multiple parlays with handicap bets at -1.5 Giants. Given the error by the odds provider, he was initially paid out $410k and withdrew the funds. This was verified then paid out instantly (as we always do). 30 minutes later, when the game was correctly regraded to 7-6 we reached out to the player, explained what had happened and kindly asked him to return the funds. This is a player we have basic info on but could easily have walked away. With how most players are treated by other sites - I’m sure they would have. He didn’t. This is someone the founders speak to daily. He knows how we treat players and how we would have acted in the reverse. He agreed to return all $410k - as a token of goodwill we voided the losing bets and gave him back his original $150k stake. Good story all around. Proves the value of our approach to players.
