@NVIDIA are usually right. Their token economics paper is no exception. They say a token that arrives in near real time is worth more, and that higher interactivity commands a higher price. Agree. Not all answers are created equal. A useful way I use to think about it is how fast the utility of the token output decays. To a human, a chat answer is worth the same five seconds later, but an answer about an AI cyber attack that's already moved laterally is worth a fraction of what it was at detection. Way I see it is that the most useful lens to cut token value is by how quickly the utility of the answer decays. The expensive side of the matrix is where a decaying answer also needs a lot of output like an agent reasoning through a live cyber incident, not a consumer agent chat window.
