This is a good example of how easy it is to create a completely false narrative with a couple screenshots. Earlier today I bought $PIXELCAT early to play the Robinhood mascot narrative. I got decent positioning off the initial tweet, but I was digging through the GitHub because I thought there was potentially something much bigger underneath it. That led me to $PICKLES. At first glance, it looked like an obvious scam the market had overlooked. But there were enough breadcrumbs that made me question whether Robinhood could actually be teasing something bigger I thought the first gorilla marketing ploy of potentially teasing the first hood AI agent play. I spent the next half hour digging through it and our research team was combing through this to help verify what I was looking at. At one point, I viewed it as basically a 50/50 toss-up. But the asymmetry was there. If Robinhood was actually launching or teasing an AI agent through those breadcrumbs, a $1-2M market cap would’ve been ridiculously mispriced. I was willing to take that risk and size accordingly, especially with how fast this market has been rotating. Turns out I was wrong. Once we confirmed the GitHub was fully fake and Pickles wasn’t a narrative, the first thing was to update my fomo these before I even cut the position. When I cut the position I sold in multiple orders spaced out so I also wouldn’t nuke this chart. Although it was minutes I gave those who continue to copy trade me the opportunity to exit before I did. But instead of showing any of that, this guy screenshots the peak of both positions and says I “farmed everyone for $16k” before rotating into the next coin. That’s trading. I take risks, I do the research, and sometimes I’m wrong. When I am, I cut the trade and communicate why. You can criticize the trade all you want. But don’t manufacture a story that I dumped on my followers when the on-chain history and my posts show the exact opposite. Here’s a real screenshot of the aftermath. I lost $30k on pickles and you can see the updated thesis time stamp and my sells on chain. I profited nothing of this, but still happy I took the opportunity on this setup. Do better @TartanTradess Not sure if you do this intentionally or you really made an honest mistake, but regardless you should reflect here.
