many people have asked what our ultimate goals are for the Pumpfun app given the fact that it currently charges ~0% fees. the stronger the Pumpfun app gets, the more we can leverage its growth to help tokens across the Pumpfun ecosystem. our goal is to give tokens launched on Pumpfun the most amount of distribution and eyeballs, a competitive advantage that no other launchpad has. however, I want to be clear about how we use that advantage. we are never going to disadvantage any other eco or wall off access to the tokens users want to trade. ultimately, the Pumpfun App can only succeed if traders feel like they can win on *any* opportunity onchain, regardless if it's a token launched on the Pump launchpad, elsewhere on Solana, or on any other chain. indeed, one of our top priorities is giving crosschain traders better fills, reliability & execution speed than any other trading venue. aside from the fact that Pump is incentivized to make coins launched on the platform become successful, we're confident that Pumpfun coins are the safest, most battle-tested vessels for retail traders to speculate on. It’s a key reason why Pumpfun was the *only* venue with continued, concentrated activity throughout the recent bear market, and continues being the market leader in its 3rd year of existence. additionally, Pumpfun charges the *lowest* post-bonding platform fees out of any other leading launchpad (0.05%), as well as a trust factor that's been growing ever-stronger since early 2024. the ultimate goal is for every product we build to uplift the ecosystem it's built to serve, and grow the pie by giving retail traders the friendliest conditions to get started.
