This is the dark side of "personal brand". This is why 98% of the time it's stupid. You invest 3-5-10 years of your time. Then one day you wake up and just don't want to dance in front of the camera anymore like some rodent on an endless algo treadmill. BUT if you're like most personal brands... You can't. So you end up in a perpetual hell of being forced to slap on a fake smile and perform in an ever more competitive market full of upstarts. Your content suffers, or you stop, or your content style stops working. Then you're back to zero with no life skills other than making "content". It's like being a stripper. Seems like a good way to make money when you're young. Then one day you wake up and you're a 35+ something shaking your sagging ass on stage trying to keep up with some 18-year-old on TikTok. All so you can hawk info courses or promote gambling sites, etc. The 3-5-10 years most put into their personal brand would be better spent elsewhere. Best thing I ever did was shift to software full-time and YouTube for fun 10 years ago. Be careful with this shit. It looks lovely from the outside, but 98% of the time it's end in a ugly dead end. Find that one thing you can do for 30-40 years and do that. If it's making content. Sure. But it's probably not. Don't waste your years, you won't get em back.
